@savxcreative Are you visiting this waterfall? 😍 Bridalveil Fall in Yosemite National Park is a 617 foot waterfall that flows year round, and is one of the most prominent waterfalls in the valley. I visited during the winter, and the trail was very cold and icy at the base of the falls, so if you plan to visit, dress and prepare accordingly! 🥾 Trail ~0.8 mile out and back (114‘ Elevation Gain) Entire hike is paved (Can get wet, cold and icy during Winter seasons) Easy difficulty (slight incline in beginning, easy stroll) **Friendly reminder to stay on the trail to protect the area and wildlife. 💰 $35 Vehicle Entrance Fee (Reservations required in advance during peak seasons) 📍 Bridalveil Fall, Yosemite National Park, California Let me know if I missed anything, or if you want any more information - happy traveling! @savxcreative Have you seen this mining town? ⛏️ Bodie State Historic Park located in Mono County was a California gold mining community turned ghost town, leaving behind old houses, shops, and a large stamp mill. Since the mine cave was found in 1875, up until the town was abandoned by 1942, Bodie was a short-lived boomtown and now remains a state park for visitors to visit and learn about the town’s history. Source: parks.ca.gov This town was WAY larger than I thought it would be and I easily spent an hour just wandering around all the buildings and old roads. The drive is a bit of a detour from any major city or destination, but if you happen to be on the US-395 by Yosemite, it’s worth a visit! They also offer old mill tours that take you inside the old Stamp Mill! 💰 $8 Entrance Fee per Adult 📍 Bodie State Historic Park, Mono County, California Let me know if I missed anything, or if you want any more information - happy traveling! @savxcreative Did you know about this old sawmill? 🪚 The Old Vernonia Sawmill located in Vernonia Lake Park next to the lake, was one of the biggest and most active sawmills in Oregon State. It was built by Oregon American Lumber Company in 1924 and operated until 1957 when all the lumber in the area was completely exhausted. Now it sits in the town of Vernonia as a historical landmark for visitors to explore.
